Real time truancy warning
We efficiently and accurately capture attendance data which can be accessed using any of our comprehensive range of reports. However, we aim to make further use of captured attendance data, for example giving users real time early warning of truancy and alerts to poor attending students. If a student is marked absent on a web register but has already been marked present in the morning we will detect and notify college staff. As always such functionality will be optional and fully configurable at a system and user level through the TokAM Administration Module.

Fully integrated EMA support
We are committed to assisting colleges with the administration of the governments Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) scheme. The TokAM EMA module has been developed by Tokairo to handle the complete range of EMA data management administrative processes: from enrollment and automatic upload of weekly payment decisions and bonus payment decisions to the management of all EMA related documents. From September 2005, users will be able to upload their bonus payment decisions directly into the Government’s EMA System (EMASYS) via Tokairo EMA module upload interfaces.

Online student files and document management
Tokairo is one of the leading Document Management providers in Europe and USA delivering our TokOpen system to major Government departments and many the leading blue chip corporations.

We are integrating TokOpen’s document management technology into TokAM allowing colleges to capture documents across the college and provide secure online access directly from TokAM to student folders. EMA, Auditors and internal college processes all require secure online access to files and documents.

Freedom of Information and Data Protection legislation
Colleges are required by law to provide certain information to the public. However documents containing ‘public’ information also contain ‘private’ information that MUST NOT be published in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Colleges not adhering to this legislation will be breaking the law. Tokairo specialises in administering documents ensuring a single document can be stored, centrally managed and available for access using a standard web browser automatically blanking out (referred to as redaction) confidential information. Rules can be applied for different document types, such as enrolment forms that automatically apply redaction on different areas of the document depending upon your security clearance and departments you are a member.
